Kennedy’s assassination, reigniting public interest in one of America’s most enduring mysteries. At a recent rally in Arizona, Trump announced plans to establish a commission to investigate assassination attempts, with a focus on unveiling all remaining JFK assassination files , as mentioned in a report by Forbes. These files contain sensitive information such as names and addresses, reportedly withheld due to national security concerns. The 1992 President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act mandated the release of all assassination-related records by 2017, barring those posing security risks. However, both Trump and President Joe Biden delayed the full release, citing concerns over potential threats to informants and government personnel. In 2022, reports indicated that bureaucratic disputes have contributed to the continued redactions. Despite these delays, Trump authorized the release of about 50,000 documents during his presidency, while Biden declassified 15,000 more files. Still, the public eagerly awaits full disclosure. Also Read: After losing U.S election, Vice President Kamala Harris goes on vacation; here's where she has gone Trump’s Perspective on the Files In various interviews, Trump has hinted at the sensitivity of the remaining documents. Speaking on the “All In” podcast in June, he suggested that the CIA may have influenced his decision to delay the release. He described receiving warnings from trusted advisors, including former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who expressed concerns over the potential fallout. “I think it’s going to be fine to open the rest,” Trump said, adding that the files may not contain groundbreaking revelations. Despite his optimism, critics remain skeptical about whether he will follow through if re-elected. What the Files Have Revealed So Far Experts agree that previously declassified records have not significantly altered the official narrative of JFK’s assassination. However, some documents have provided intriguing details, such as evidence of CIA surveillance on Lee Harvey Oswald, Kennedy’s alleged assassin. Jefferson Morley, a historian and editor of the JFK Facts Substack, noted that intelligence agencies appear to have actively suppressed certain details from public view. While these revelations may not rewrite history, they add layers to the understanding of intelligence operations during the Cold War era. A Legacy of Speculation The assassination of John F. Kennedy in Dallas on November 22, 1963, remains a watershed moment in U.S. history. Official investigations, including the Warren Commission, concluded there was no broader conspiracy, but unanswered questions have fueled decades of speculation. FAQs Who was responsible for the assassination of President John F. Kennedy? President John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas. The official investigation by the Warren Commission concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in the assassination. However, conspiracy theories suggesting involvement by others, such as the Mafia, the CIA, or other groups, persist. What happened on the day of the JFK assassination? On November 22, 1963, President Kennedy was in a motorcade through downtown Dallas when he was shot in Dealey Plaza. Kennedy was struck by two bullets, one in the upper back and another in the head. He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Parkland Memorial Hospital. The Southern African Development Community (SADC) must abandon its feeble approach to dealing with the destructive chaos orchestrated by opposition political parties and take an uncompromising stand against their blatant role in fuelling post-election violence. These opposition groups have exposed themselves as nothing more than power-hungry, self-serving entities willing to burn nations to the ground in pursuit of their selfish ambitions. From Zimbabwe in 2018 to the recent bloodshed in Mozambique, these anarchists have shown complete contempt for democracy, human decency, and the lives of innocent citizens. In Mozambique, opposition leader Venancio Mondlane's outright rejection of election results directly triggered violent protests, leading to over 30 deaths. This carnage is not an isolated incident but part of a sickening trend where opposition parties, unable to accept their failure, incite riots, destroy property, and spill innocent blood. The chaos that unfolded in Zimbabwe following the 2018 elections is yet another damning testament to the opposition's reckless and destructive nature. Their actions are nothing short of a premeditated attack on the democratic process and the stability of entire nations. The audacity of these opposition figures to dress up their violence as "resistance" to oppression is a grotesque mockery of justice and decency. This excuse has allowed them to evade responsibility for the lives they have destroyed and the havoc they have unleashed. Enough of this nonsense! SADC must take an unrelenting stance, punishing these agitators with the severest measures available. Those who incite violence, directly or indirectly, must face harsh sanctions that leave no room for impunity. It is high time the region put an end to the toxic exploitation of democracy by these rogue elements. But it doesn't stop with the opposition leaders alone. The enablers of this chaos - be they journalists, so-called activists, or organisations that parrot the opposition's divisive propaganda - must also be held accountable. Individuals like Zimbabwean journalist Hopewell Chin'ono and leaders of the opposition like Nelson Chamisa and Tendai Biti have been glorified by naïve supporters despite their roles in provoking unrest. These opportunists are nothing more than mercenaries and merchants of death, their ambitions steeped in the blood of the innocent. Their so-called activism is a cover for insidious agendas that prioritise political power over human life. As SADC Executive Secretary Elias Magosi rightly emphasised, there are legal and peaceful avenues to resolve electoral disputes. But instead of choosing law and order, these defeated opposition parties resort to violent tantrums. The region cannot afford to keep turning a blind eye. SADC's failure to take immediate and severe action against these anarchists will embolden them further, plunging nations into deeper chaos and destroying public confidence in democratic processes. SADC must act now - firmly, decisively, and without hesitation. No political party, no journalist, no organisation, and no so-called activist should be allowed to plunge nations into chaos and hold democracy hostage. The stability and survival of entire nations must not be sacrificed at the altar of political ambition. SADC must rise to its mandate and obliterate this cancer of opposition-driven violence. The time for diplomacy and soft words is over; it's time for unrelenting action to ensure peace, stability, and the protection of innocent lives. Anything less is tacit complicity.

Julie Saraceno's video — which was posted earlier this month — has gained 4 million views. The video shows Finn entering the main area of the building with toys strewn about on the floor. Finn, whose tail is wagging happily throughout the entire video, sniffs many of the possible toys and even picks up a few before settling on a green frog as his final choice. Saraceno, a dedicated volunteer since 2020, tells People exclusively, “I love making the dogs feel special while they wait for their forever homes." According to Saraceno, she noticed that there was a demand from people across the country who wanted to help the dogs she talked about on her social media page. Game-changing clothing tool gets rid of Christmas tree needles in seconds Dog behavior expert's 3 breeds to avoid including one 'no-one should consider' “I realized that I have many followers as far away as New York,” she said. “So I created Amazon Wishlists for the longtime dogs so they could have beds, blankets and their favorite toys and treats.” The Washington resident was shocked when donations started pouring in. The clip of Finn selecting the toy is one of several featuring dogs in the shelter selecting their present. According to the worker, Finn is one of several puppies who have no pending applications and hopes to change that by using social media as he’s been at the shelter for more than one year now. “He’s just the sweetest boy,” she writes on TikTok . “He would love to have a home for the holidays.” Since sharing the post, Saraceno has reported an increase in donations with the mailman having to make multiple trips to deliver all the packages. "I love that Finn went viral," she says. "I hope it helps him get a home." Many of Saraceno's followers have also stated Finn gets adopted soon. "That beautiful baby boy deserves a basket FULL of toys — and lots of comfy beds and couches to cuddle on," wrote one person. "Not to be dramatic but I’d die for Finn," stated a second person. "I love how seriously he took that. inspecting each toy carefully, lol," a third person commented. "I hope Finn finds a loving forever home before the holidays!" "There’s a great home out there for you Finn!! Hang in there buddy," a fourth person cooed. "Please keep us updated if he finds a home please he's so sweet I wish I could adopt him," said a fifth person. The remaining comments echoed similar statements of people clamoring over how cute the dog was and how they wished they could adopt the sweet animal. "Love this for the shelter dogs, if I would I would happily take any shelter dog home but I need more land and a giant house." Stocks shook off a choppy start to finish higher Monday, as Wall Street kicked off a holiday-shortened week. The S&P 500 ended 0.7% higher after having been down 0.5% in the early going. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also recovered from an early slide to eke out a 0.2% gain. The tech-heavy Nasdaq composite rose 1%. Gains in technology and communications stocks accounted for much of the gains, outweighing losses in consumer goods companies and elsewhere in the market. Semiconductor giant Nvidia, whose enormous valuation gives it an outsize influence on indexes, rose 3.7%. Broadcom climbed 5.5% to also help support the broader market. Walmart fell 2% and PepsiCo slid 1%. Japanese automakers Honda and Nissan said they are talking about combining in a deal that might also include Mitsubishi Motors. U.S.-listed shares in Honda jumped 12.7%, while Nissan ended flat. Eli Lilly rose 3.7% after announcing that regulators approved Zepbound as the first and only prescription medicine for adults with sleep apnea. Department store Nordstrom fell 1.5% after it agreed to be taken private by Nordstrom family members and a Mexican retail group in a $6.25 billion deal. All told, the S&P 500 rose 43.22 points to 5,974.07. The Dow gained 66.69 points to 42,906.95. The Nasdaq rose 192.29 points to 19,764.89. Traders got a look at a new snapshot of U.S. consumer confidence Monday. The Conference Board said that consumer confidence slipped in December. Its consumer confidence index fell back to 104.7 from 112.8 in November. Wall Street was expecting a reading of 113.8. The unexpectedly weak consumer confidence update follows several generally strong economic reports last week. One report showed the overall economy grew at a 3.1% annualized rate during the summer, faster than earlier thought. The latest report on unemployment benefit applications showed that the job market remains solid. A report on Friday said a measure of inflation the Federal Reserve likes to use was slightly lower last month than economists expected. Worries about inflation edging higher again had been weighing on Wall Street and the Fed. The central bank just delivered its third cut to interest rates this year, but inflation has been hovering stubbornly above its target of 2%. It has signaled that it could deliver fewer cuts to interest rates next year than it earlier anticipated because of concerns over inflation. Expectations for more interest rate cuts have helped drive a roughly 25% gain for the S&P 500 in 2024. That drive included 57 all-time highs this year. Inflation concerns have added to uncertainties heading into 2025, which include the labor market's path ahead and shifting economic policies under an incoming President Donald Trump. "Put simply, much of the strong market performance prior to last week was driven by expectations that a best-case scenario was the base case for 2025," said Brent Schutte, chief investment officer at Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company Treasury yields rose in the bond market. The yield on the 10-year Treasury rose to 4.59% from 4.53% late Friday. European markets closed mostly lower, while markets in Asia gained ground. Wall Street has several other economic reports to look forward to this week. On Tuesday, the U.S. will release its November report for sales of newly constructed homes. A weekly update on unemployment benefits is expected on Thursday. Markets in the U.S. will close at 1 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday for Christmas Eve and will remain closed on Wednesday for Christmas.US President Biden hails Manmohan Singh’s role in strengthening tiesPathstone Holdings LLC Sells 34,081 Shares of UBS Group AG (NYSE:UBS)

Compressor Replacement Adsorber Market Outlook and Future Projections for 2030MOSCOW: President Vladimir Putin said that Russia would keep testing its new Oreshnik hypersonic missile in combat and had a stock ready for use. Putin was speaking a day after Russia fired the new intermediate-range weapon into Ukraine for the first time, a step he said was prompted by Ukraine’s use of US ballistic missiles and British cruise missiles to hit Russia. The Kremlin leader described the missile’s first use as a successful test, and said more would follow. “We will continue these tests, including in combat conditions, depending on the situation and the nature of the security threats that are created for Russia,” he said in televised comments to defence officials and missile developers. “Moreover, we have a stock of such products, a stock of such systems ready for use.” Intermediate missiles have a range of 3,000-5,500 km (1,860-3,415 miles), which would enable them to strike anywhere in Europe or the western United States from Russia. Security experts said the novel feature of the Oreshnik missile was that it carried multiple warheads capable of simultaneously striking different targets – something usually associated with longer-range intercontinental ballistic missiles designed to carry nuclear warheads. The firing of the missile was part of a sharp rise in tensions this week as both Ukraine and Russia have struck each other’s territory with increasingly potent weapons. Moscow says that by giving the green light for Ukraine to fire Western missiles deep inside Russia, the U.S. and its allies are entering into direct conflict with Russia. On Tuesday, Putin approved policy changes that lowered the threshold for Russia to use nuclear weapons in response to an attack with conventional weapons. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Russia’s use of the new missile amounted to “a clear and severe escalation” in the war and called for strong worldwide condemnation. He said Ukraine was working on developing new types of air defence to counter “new risks”. The Kremlin said the firing of the Oreshnik was a warning to the West against taking further “reckless” actions and decisions in support of Ukraine.
